Top Gun: Maverick – win tickets to private screening

written by Adam Thorn | May 11, 2022

To celebrate the long-awaited release of Top Gun: Maverick in theatres, Australian Aviation has five double passes to give away to a private screening of the film.

The event is on Thursday, 26 May 2022, at the Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace in Cremorne, Sydney.

We’ve been able to get exclusive access to this offer for new members, which includes the opportunity to chat with real fighter pilots while enjoying a glass of champagne.

This is a charity event being hosted by pilots from Afterburner and the special forces team from Wandering Warriors.

Proceeds from the event support the Wandering Warriors Foundation, whose purpose is to help prevent veteran suicide and provide pathways to transition from military to civilian life.

The team at Australian Aviation are proud to support this worthy cause.

To be in with a chance to win, sign up for an Australian Aviation membership before 20 May and answer our qualifying question to enter.

The original Top Gun was released in 1986, and this sequel takes the action forward more than 30 years.

Tom Cruise return as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell alongside A-listers Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly and Jon Hamm.

The film was due to hit cinemas in 2020 but, much like the wider aviation industry, found its release pushed back almost two years into May 2022.
