The last Classic Hornet course
‘The last Hornet course concluded in December 2019’
In the 35 years that the F/A-18 ‘Classic’ Hornet has been Australia’s frontline combat aircraft, some 450 pilots have trained to fly the type, all undertaking initial training with Number 2 Operational Conversion Unit (2OCU) at RAAF Williamtown.
