Last hurrah for Skeletor

The drawdown of the Royal Australian Navy S-70B-2 Seahawk fleet continues with Seahawk N24‑011 Skeletor completing its last operational flight on March 14 while embarked on HMAS Arunta in the Middle East.

After logging around 6,200 flying hours across 28 years, the Navy took the opportunity to retire Skeletor, named for the character from the 1980s sci-fi cartoon series Masters of the Universe, during a maintenance period for HMAS Arunta in Bahrain in late March.
