The Army Aviation Centre Oakey is being established as a CH-47F Chinook maintenance training centre, following the delivery of Australia’s first Maintenance Blended Reconfigurable Aviation Trainers (MBRATs) for the helicopter. The two trainers were delivered by Boeing Defence Australia under the Army Aviation Training and Training Support contract through subcontractor Kratos Defense & Security Solutions.

Cobham Aviation Services says it has started operations with the first of four Bombardier Challenger CL-604 jets under contract for the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA).
