Seismic shifts in NZ regional aviation as Jetstar takes to the field

Massive change is underway for regional aviation in New Zealand. Domestic incumbent Air New Zealand faces competition, often for the first time, on two fronts: firstly from Jetstar New Zealand, which starts Bombardier Dash 8 Q300 turboprop flights this December, and secondly from smaller regional NZ carriers like Sounds Air, Air Chathams and Kiwi Regional Airlines.
