The RAAF has deployed a C-130J Hercules with ADF Department of Foreign Affairs personnel on board to the Solomon Islands following severe flooding in the island nation.
The ADF says the team of 11 ADF personnel and DFAT advisor will assess the scope of what assistance may be required in the Solomons. This comes after a request for assistance from the Government of the Solomon Islands to Australia on April 5.
