Part 61 regulations

What it means

The times are changing and the acceptance that what was good 20-something years ago needs to be updated to cater for altered demands and technology.

If nothing else, the CASA Part 61 regulations, to be activated on December 4 this year, reflect the slow change from the Westminster system to something closer to that of the Washington system. The new regulations are said to more closely align Australia with international standards and will embrace various regulations, orders and instruments.
