Greater degrees of interest on flight training

As aviation has changed, so have the means of entering the industry and of carving out a fledgling career. This is especially evident in the initial training and career paths of many of those learning to fly today.

One relatively constant means of flight training continues to exist with the Australian Defence Force. Yet even the face of military aviation has changed over the years with the nursery of Point Cook giving way to flight screening and initial training at BAE Systems in Tamworth.
