Forty-five years of leading the airline industry is an outstanding achievement by any measure but perhaps, just perhaps, the innovation at Singapore Airlines has stalled.

When you are making stellar profits it is almost impossible to get impetus at board level for changing the model but over the past 10 years Singapore Airlines has shown signs of slipping behind the industry.
