The heady predications have been made, the robust forecasts are in, the spectacular profit results are on the board and more orders are being placed. China’s airline industry is on the move and is racing down the runway to land at an airport near us.
According to IATA the number of international air passengers from mainland China will rise by an average of 10.8 per cent per year through to 2014, making it the world’s fastest-growing market, while Hong Kong is set to be the world’s fastest-growing air cargo market, with growth at an average of 12.2 per cent a year in the same period.
