An honest look at small aerodromes
With the balance of power in the new federal parliament held by the three rural independents, a rare chance exists to sort out the nation’s many struggling aerodromes, of which many are within their electorates.
Given major promises made by both sides to regional and remote areas, the Regional Aviation Association of Australia, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, local government and airport tenants should unite to force all parties to come up with a lasting solution.
