A Royal Netherlands Air Force order for four has launched the Fokker 60 Utility, a stretched version of the existing Fokker 50 Utility. Both versions feature a heavy duty floor. while the Fokker 50 Utility also has a large rear multi purpose door. The Fokker 60 Utility differs in having a 1.62m (64in) stretch, 2060kW (2750shp) Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127B turboprops and a forward 3. 05 x 1. 78m cargo door. Fokker is offering the Utilities to the world's armed forces, government agencies and commercial operators (for use for example as oil company transports) capable of carrying mixed loads of freight, personnel and equipment.
