Although 52 aircraft are listed in the New Allocation section this month, only 18 of these are genuine imports. Sixteen entries are reregistrations, two are ex RAAF Airtrainers, 10 have been built in Australia, Bandeirante XFO has returned from a spell in PNG and five have been in Australia for sometime, four of these under long term rebuild.

Of the 10 Australian built machines three are Skyfox CA25s fresh off the production line at Caloundra Qld, one is a brand. new Kavanagh Balloon whilst the other six are amateur built, a Vans RV6, a Glasair and four Lancairs. The Lancairs listed in this issue increases their numbers by almost 50% and is an indication of how popular this powerful side by side two seater is becoming. It is an unfortunate coincidence that the demonstration model, HTD, is listed this month in the deletions section.
