Interview with Dennis Howe

It was nearly eighteen months ago when Australian Aviation last interviewed East-West Airlines Managing Director, Mr Dennis Howe. In that period the airline has been successful in prompting a government inquiry into the Two Airline Policy and has pioneered many new, and innovative routes. As a result, it has incurred the wrath of TAA and seen vastly increased direct competition from the Ansett group. John Spiers spoke with Dennis Howe to find out where East West is heading in the year ahead.

JS: Are you trading profitably at this stage, in view of the increasing competition you are facing?
