Major corporations these days deem the employment of a corporate aircraft as a vital necessity to their ability to perform the task. To close a multi-million dollar business deal, to move vital spare parts, or to merely act as an executive shuttle between major plants are all roles so ably undertaken by corporate aircraft.

It comes as no surprise therefore that the biggest and, in the longer term, the most important business in the land – the government – must also have its own mini-airline in order to increase productivity and protect against the threat of terrorist action. In Australia the RAAF performs this task on behalf of the Federal Government and No 34 Squadron is the vehicle.
