Virgin Australia will increase direct services between Perth and the Pilbara town of Karratha in response to continuing strong demand from the mining and resources industry.
The new services are in addition to increases announced in June and follow a recent announcement by Qantas it will also increase capacity on the route.

From October 22, Virgin Australia will add two weekly return Fokker 100 services to Karratha, departing Perth at 1445 on Tuesdays and Fridays. Following the adjustment Virgin Australia will offer 38 flights a week between Perth and Karratha.
