Japanese carrier Skymark Airlines has signed an MoU with Airbus for four A380s, with Australia listed as a possible destination for the aircraft.
“Its excellent takeoff and landing performance enables the A380 to operate on the shorter 2500m runways at Japan’s Narita and Tokyo Haneda airports carrying a full passenger payload and cargo to destinations in Europe, North America and Australia,” reads the November 12 statement from Airbus announcing the deal.
