From 9 October to 30 November, the main runway will be closed between 2am and 11:30am, with regional airline traffic to use the second runway if required. In a statement, a Jetstar spokesperson confirmed that the airline has now cancelled all flights between Darwin and Bali between 9 and 28 October.
The Flying Kangaroo has unveiled a new livery for three of its aircraft – a Qantas 737-800, a Jetstar A320, and a QantasLink Dash 8 – featuring the Yes campaign’s logo, saying it has long supported reconciliation and a “fair go”.

China Southern, Asia’s largest airline by fleet size, will fly four times per week between Brisbane and its base in Guangzhou starting on 17 November, using 334-seat Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The service is expected to add almost 278,000 inbound seats between Brisbane and China over three years.
However, in a significant moment, international travel rose to 92 per cent of 2019 figures, buoyed by the arrival of travellers from China, India and the UK.
The event, now in its 27th year, includes personnel from India, Japan and the US, while other aircraft taking part include Hawk 127, P-8A Poseidon and the MH60R Seahawk.
