AMSL Aero will work with aeromedical organisation Life Flight New Zealand to support future use of its Vertiia electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft in the country.
The event, held at Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Kuta from September 18 to 21, marks the first time Australia has conducted a dedicated flying display with the F-35A in Indonesia.
The first-of-class flight trials included deck operations, refuelling, stowage via deck lashing, deck take-off and landings.
The 45-year-old from Lower Plenty appeared in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday afternoon after the Australian Federal Police (AFP) arrested him on three charges of radio interference at Melbourne Airport over the course of two months.
The route, which was paused in April due to maintenance issues with Pratt & Whitney geared turbofan (GTF) engines used on Air New Zealand’s A320neo and A321neo aircraft, will restart on 27 October with three weekly return flights.
Currently unpainted, the aircraft is one of three 737NGs on British soil undergoing modification by a team of over 100 people at STS Aviation Services in Birmingham.
