Paul Bennet Airshows pilot Glenn Collins, whose Pitts Special stunt plane crashed into the ground during an aerobatic display at around 5:15pm on 28 March, has told supporters his recovery is “ongoing and still uncertain in many ways” after his surgeries.

The route, which previously operated in last year’s peak, will fly three times per week on 787-9 Dreamliners starting from 30 November.

The accident at Qantas’ T3 domestic terminal at around 1pm on Saturday saw the woman, believed to be in her forties, rushed to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital after falling around five to six metres, and being attended by first responders on the scene. She remains in an induced coma.

Works began in early April on the large-scale infrastructure and facilities upgrade, which aims to bolster the base’s operational capacity, safety and resilience.
