Air Italy Ceases Flying

Italian carrier Air Italy confirmed it would stop flying and liquidate, after a meeting of the carriers’ shareholders Alisarda and Qatar Airways through AQA Holding spa.


A Pegasus Airlines jet crashed on 5 February while landing at Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, killing three people and injuring 179 others.


Fiji Airways has leased a Boeing 737-800 from Malaysia-based Malindo Air as cover for its grounded 737 MAX 8 fleet.

Air Shows

It was announced at the Paris Air Show on Tuesday IAG had signed a letter of intent for 200 Boeing 737s, comprising a mix of 737 MAX 8s and 737 MAX 10s.

New South Wales has signed a contract with United States-based Coulson Aviation to purchase three aircraft for firebombing duties, including a modified Boeing 737 large air tanker.
