The new Boeing 777X took to the skies for the first time today in front of thousands at Paine Field in Everett, Washington, USA.

Boeing had added its in-development 777-X family of aircraft comprising the 777-8X and 777-9X as to its business jet BBJ lineup.

Boeing has unveiled the first 777X static test aircraft at its Everett facility just outside Seattle. Test flights were due to begin in early 2019.
In a major production milestone, Boeing says it has completed the “final body join” of the first 777-X, connecting the nose, mid and aft sections together.
