WA Premier Mark McGowan has announced he will reopen his state's borders to NSW, Victoria and overseas travellers once the vaccination rate in WA reaches 90 per cent in people aged 12 and over.
It's the first time that free movement between NSW and Victoria has been allowed since early July, when both states imposed restrictions on movement in light of Delta outbreaks and lockdowns.
