Airbus Helicopters has confirmed that it has appointed Christian Venzal as managing director of Airbus Helicopters Australia and New Zealand.
The new twin-engine aircraft will serve as PolAir 1, 3 and 4. They will be used to support the Force in patrols, search and rescue, surveillance and specialist operations throughout NSW.

The state's premier, Mark McGowan, said the new helicopter will replace the Eurocopter Dauphin AS365 that has been operating in its fleet since 2011.
