The airport said it expects the downturn in passenger traffic to persist “until government travel restrictions are eased”.
Avalon Airport chief executive Justin Giddings has raised the idea that his airport could be one of just a handful to accept flights from New Zealand as flying slowly begins to resume.
The airline said, “Passengers will be denied boarding if they refuse to wear a mask except if there are exceptional reasons.”
