Round 11 of the Remote Airstrip Upgrade (RAU) Program will offer investments of between $5,000 and $4 million from a total pool of $25 million.

The report into the incident last year said balloon maker Kubicek Balloons made “incorrect assumptions” about a modification and didn’t then subsequently conduct the required test necessary to ensure it was safe.
Pilot David Maddern and his wife Jan, flying in the Jabiru, were killed in the mid-air collision on Friday, but the male pilot in the other aircraft was uninjured.
