As first reported by The Australian Financial Review, former senior project manager at Perth Airport, Jessica Sertis, is launching proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia, alleging she had to work up to 75-hour weeks.
In an op-ed in The Courier-Mail, Gert-Jan de Graaff said faster international processing is needed to help passengers cross the border more quickly, with better public transport also a must to accommodate both current visitors and future growth.
The facility, announced last year, is operated by Wagner Sustainable Fuels in partnership with Boeing and FlyORO, and is the first SAF blending terminal in the world to be co-located with an airport. It will allow “neat” SAF to be mixed with conventional jet fuel, reducing emissions.
The 45-year-old man was originally stopped by the Australian Border Force for a baggage examination at Perth International Airport on 29 September. ABF personnel had also identified that the man was allegedly behaving suspiciously on his arrival.
