After the airline put out a call on Facebook to find its owner, a young boy named Harry has been given back the teddy bear he accidentally left behind on a Virgin flight to Perth on Monday.

The industrial action, which began last Tuesday, has upended travel plans, as Air Tahiti Nui flights to Auckland – which would connect to Australian destinations such as Sydney, Brisbane and Perth – have been cancelled at the very last minute.

Citilink, an arm of Indonesian national carrier Garuda Indonesia, will fly daily between Perth and Bali starting 19 July, and three times per week between Perth and Jakarta starting 29 July. Both routes will use Airbus A320 aircraft.

The document, published this month, offers guidance for vertiport builds in areas such as location, physical design, essential and optional components, and obstacle limitation surfaces, and was developed following extensive industry consultation.

The MOU will see Quickstep provide component support for Alliance’s E190 fleet, which is expected to grow to 63 by 2026 following the purchase of 30 of the Embraer jets in February.

Batik Air Malaysia, formerly Malindo Air, will operate three times per week between Adelaide and the Malaysian capital. Its first flight on the route, OD121 from KL, touched down in Adelaide at 8:20am on Friday morning on board the 737 MAX 8 9M-LRR (pictured).
