Defence and national security professionals gathered on Thursday, 23 April 2026 to celebrate excellence across the industry at what has quickly become one of the sector’s most anticipated evenings on the calendar.

The Australian Space Awards 2026, in partnership with Principal Partner Space Centre Australia, saw a confirmed total of 131 finalists across this year’s awards, which marks the seventh instalment of the national program celebrating excellence in Australia’s space industry.

Nominations and submissions are now open for the Australian Defence Industry Awards 2026, with this year’s program set to debut in a bold new format alongside the launch of the Australian Defence Industry Accelerator, in partnership with Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
