Virgin Australia has created the new position of chief commercial officer, promoting group executive of sales Judith Crompton to the position. Crompton joined Virgin Australia in 2012 from Etihad Airways where she was head of global corporate sales. As well as sales and  revenue management her new role sees her have responsibility for alliances and network.
