Qantas Frequent Flyer now has more than 30 airline partners and 1,300 destinations worldwide, with members redeeming a record 10 million rewards across 2025-26 including more than five million airline seats.
“We know how much our members love using their points to travel internationally, especially across Europe,” said Qantas Loyalty CEO Andrew Glance.
“We’ve built one of the largest and most diverse partner airline networks in the world, which continues to deliver more choice and value for our members each year.
“Adding a world-class carrier like Condor only strengthens our program and global footprint even further, as our members map out their travel for the year ahead.”
Condor does not fly directly to Australia, but customers can connect to its network through Asian, North American, South African and European hubs including London (Gatwick), Bangkok, Frankfurt, and Los Angeles.
According to Condor chief commercial officer Dr Pierre Dominique Prümm, the deal will “offer travellers greater choice and seamless access across Europe”.
“We are delighted to launch our partnership with Qantas, giving Qantas Frequent Flyers the opportunity to redeem their points on Condor flights,” he said.
At the same time, our cooperation goes beyond loyalty. By connecting our networks, we are creating new travel opportunities between Australia and New Zealand and our extensive network across Europe and beyond.
“With our growing network, modern fleet and high-quality onboard product, we look forward to offering Qantas customers greater choice, convenient connections and a great travel experience, whether travelling for business, visiting friends and family, or discovering destinations across Europe and beyond.”
The news comes after Qantas revealed more details about overhauls to its Frequent Flyer system first flagged in February, including the ability to earn Status Credits on the ground and roll over some unused credits to the next year, starting on 8 December.
“Qantas Frequent Flyer is stronger and more diversified than it’s ever been. Our nearly 19 million members now engage with us across almost every part of their daily lives, and two-thirds of all Qantas Points are now earned on the ground,” said Glance.
“We know how deeply members value their status and the travel benefits that come with our tiers. These changes represent the most significant status overhaul in our program’s history, ensuring it remains Australia’s most rewarding and relevant loyalty program long into the future.”
Qantas also added Hawaiian Airlines and Philippine Airlines as frequent flyer partners over the past year, and expanded partnerships with Emirates, Finnair, Air France, KLM and Iberia.
