Now in its fourth year and backed by Principal Partner UNSW Sydney, the awards shine a spotlight on the people and businesses driving Australia’s aviation industry forward.
From hundreds of entries, 164 finalists have made the cut.
The finalist field spans the sector’s breadth, including executives, aviators, trainers, technologists, technicians and crew, alongside students, academics, and businesses large and small.
Individual finalists include representatives from Northrop Grumman, Sikorsky Australia, Swinburne University of Technology, Virgin Australia and Wagga Air Centre.
In the group categories, Cairns Airport, AirAsia, Jet Zero Australia, Airservices Australia, Airbus Australia Pacific and Safran Helicopter Engines Australia are among those in the running.
Finalists will go head-to-head across 11 individual and 18 group categories, with the top-scoring individual taking home the night’s biggest honour: the Excellence Award.
It all comes down to a black-tie gala at The Star, Sydney, on Thursday 6 August 2026, the ultimate chance for aviation professionals to rub shoulders with the industry’s best, from rising stars to seasoned leaders.
