A pair of Robinson R22 cattle mustering helicopters collided shortly after take-off at around 6:20am on Thursday. Both pilots, a 29-year-old and a 30-year-old man, died in the accident at Mt Anderson Station near Camballin in the Kimberley region just east of Broome.

The Italian Air Force EFA 2000 Typhoon pilot, who was participating in Exercise Pitch Black 24, is safe and has been transported to hospital for precautionary checks after ejecting from their aircraft during flying operations.
