NJE will purchase two Dash 8-Q400NG aircraft to service the Queensland market and is slated to start operations in the Sunshine State as soon as 1 July.

The systems will be located at five Defence sites as part of a nationwide Defence Renewable Energy and Energy Security Program, according to a public announcement on 7 May.
