Two vehicles have crashed into the terminal at Dubbo Airport, breaching the doors in what is understood to have been an attempted robbery.
Dubbo Regional Council was quick to release a statement, advising “the community of an incident at Dubbo Regional Airport this morning.

“Two vehicles have been used to break the front doors of the airport terminal to gain access to the terminal.
“Police are on scene working with staff.
“Flights are not impacted by this incident.”

According to reports, two white Toyota LandCruisers crashed at approximately 5am this morning. The drivers are believed to have raided a cash register before fleeing the scene.
Passengers have been advised to use alternate points of entry.
Police have advised anyone with dashcam footage or information to submit it to Crimestoppers.
