Passenger experience in the middle of Airbus’s market

Airbus is notably sensitive if anyone calls its re-engined A330neo aircraft “slow-selling”. To be fair, the European manufacturer has a point. After a relatively slow start there have been more than 150 ordered, and indeed it was the widebody with the highest profile at the Paris Air Show.

Cebu Pacific ordered 16, with an eye-watering all-economy high-density maximum passenger configuration up by 20 to an astounding 460 passengers, thanks to the ultra-high-density 3-3-3 layout, rearrangement of lavatories and slightly larger emergency exit doors.
