Could Lockheed Martin’s STELaRLab become Australia’s version of DARPA?

Former defence scientist Dr Tony Lindsay has big ambitions for Lockheed Martin’s new STELaRLab, in Melbourne, the first such advanced research facility the company has launched outside the US.

With some runs on the board, he could get the go-ahead to do the kind of research normally associated with the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency – DARPA.
