Hi Ted – Qantas ended its Auckland – LAX direct service some years ago and are now re-entering using American Airlines metal from June 2016
Flew Hong Kong Airlines just last week from Beijing to HK. Very impressed, a full service carrier with young aircraft and competent crew. Great to see new carriers, both full service and discount, giving the old hands a rev up in markets they don’t seem to care about.
