For all the hours designing, testing and refining Virgin Australia’s new business class suites, just as much time was spent focusing on what was surrounding the seat.
Details such as the carpet underneath a passenger’s feet, what was at eye level when seated and how the red cabin crew uniforms and cabin lighting matched these new thrones in the sky were all pored over by the airline’s chief customer officer Mark Hassell and creative director Hans Hulsbosch in a bid to find that perfect combination of style, cohesiveness and practicality that matched the airline’s brand.
