Qantas celebrates its heritage with a retro painted 737
It represents the best of the history of Qantas, and comes at a time when the future for the airline is looking bright again. ” That observation of a Qantas employee, about to disembark the Qantas Boeing 737 “retro roo” on its arrival in Sydney after its delivery from Seattle, neatly encapsulates the significance of painting the airline’s latest 737 in its livery of the 1970s and early 1980s.
