New home for Hunter XHH

Geoff Moesker’s two-seat Hawker Siddeley T. 75A Hunter, VH-XHH, was removed from the register on August 15 after its export to a buyer in North America.

Hangared at Rockhampton, VH‑XHH was one of a 21 ex Republic of Singapore Air Force Hunters Geoff acquired in the mid-1990s. Three would fly in Australia, single-seater VH-FRH (which is now with HARS), two-seater VH‑RHO (which made a wheels-up landing at Maroochydore in 2005) and XHH. Other Hunters originally imported by Geoff are on disply with the Queensland Aviation Museum at Caloundra and Fighterworld at RAAF Williamtown (both were donated by Greg Ackman).
