Bennet Aviation’s Wolf Pitts Pro PVB is the only new type shown in the New Allocations section this issue.
The aircraft is a highly modified Pitts S-1S Special with a completely new wing designed by American Steve Wolf.
An extremely talented pilot and aeronautical engineer, Steve has specialised in flying and modifying Pitts Specials and has over 30 years’ experience in both instructing and performing aerobatics.
He has over 5,000 hours in Pitts Specials alone.
Steve is well known for building and/or designing aircraft such as the Gee Bee replica, the Pitts Samson and the Hughes H-1 Racer.
The redesigned wing for the Wolf Pitts Pro includes aerodynamic ailerons and squared wing tips and the tail has been reshaped.
Flush canopy rails, carbon fibre engine cowl and rod-type landing gear are also included in the overall package.
