The Wolf Pitts Pro joins several classic aircraft in the Bennet Aviation fleet including three Stinson Sentinels, two Pitts S-1E Specials, a Grumman Avenger, CAC Wirraway, DH.
82 Tiger Moth and a Cessna M337 – a military version of the Cessna 337 Skymaster.

The RFDS has added another two Beech Super King Airs, FDL and FDO, to its Queensland fleet which now numbers 21 and becomes the largest of the state fleets with 19 aircraft based in WA, 18 in NSW and 14 in the SA/NT region.
The RFDS has recently announced that it will be the launch customer for the PC-24 jet.

Touchdown Helicopters has added Bell Iroquois OXE to its fleet of an Aerospatiale Squirrel, Bell JetRanger and Robinson R44ReviewRaven.
Although the Iroquois is an ex military helicopter it has been rebuilt from the ground up by OAS Parts in the US.
Touchdown Helicopters is based at Wollongong, NSW and provides a wide variety of services including charter, airwork and scenic flights, corporate travel and helicopter maintenance.

The Air Force Cadets has increased its fleet of DG-1000 gliders to six by adding another two, NGH and NGZ, during June.
The DG Flugzeugbau (formerly Glaser-Dirks) DG-1000S is a German, carbon fibre, two-seat glider with a 20m wing span and is certified for limited aerobatics up to +5/-2.

Unfortunately the closure of two regional airlines dominate the Deletions section this issue with aircraft from Brindabella Airlines and Vincent Aviation (Australia) listed.
Brindabella’s four Jetstream 41s have been exported, two to the US and two to the UK with the latter two destined for Airtime in Sweden after refurbishment in England.
Vincent’s Beech 1900D VAQ has returned to the parent company in New Zealand and has become ZK‑VAB while Saab 340B VNY has been exported to the US.
This still leaves three Saabs and one Beech 1900C to be disposed of with one of the former believed to be heading for Corporate Air in Canberra.

Two elderly Hiller UH-12s, HIL and HJW, have gone to New Zealand where the type is still popular with nine examples now registered there.
The Hiller UH-12 was one of the first helicopters to operate in Australia when THA was delivered to Trans Australia Airlines during 1956.
Since then almost 50 have operated in Australia, and although numbers have dwindled in recentyears seven are still on the CASA register.

Also now in New Zealand are Robinson R44s OOB, RKK and MTD with the latter now registered ZK-HTH with East Sea (NZ) at Auckland.
Singapore Flying School Learjet 45 SQM has been exported to Qatar and NT Police Pilatus PC‑12 YDO has gone to the US where it is now registered N15NE with Pro Star Pilatus Centre at Londonderry, New Hampshire.

Jestar Airbus A320 VQD has completed its six-year lease and has now moved on to Air Calin in New Caledonia where it flies as F-OZNC.

Beech Super King Air 350 PYN and BN-2A Islander BWO are both shown as “withdrawn from use”, although more than likely this is only a paperwork term and the aircraft will have been exported or will be reregistered locally.

Cessna 172 Skyhawk MKQ is the only aircraft cancelled as a result of an accident this month after it was damaged 19km SE of Carrick, Tasmania on April 30.
The aircraft was being used on a private flight from Launceston to an Agfest site near Carrick.
Before departing Launceston the pilot conducted a very thorough preflight check including two touch-and-go circuits.
On arrival at the Agfest site four overflies and one missed approach were conducted to inspect the landing area.
Unfortunately during the actual landing the aircraft bounced, the brakes locked and the aircraft ran through a fence at the end of the strip.
The nosewheel entered a ditch and the aircraft nosed over, coming to rest inverted.
Luckily the pilot was uninjured but the aircraft was substantially damaged.
The details of two Robinson R44 Ravens recently exported to New Zealand are now available with XNY now flying as ZK-IEF with Western Pacific Helicopters at Wanaka and HCL now with JA Smith at Warkworth and marked as ZK-HPO.
Both helicopters were new and only spent a very short time on the local register before being shipped across the Tasman.
Both were shown in last month’s deletions.

On the heavier side Qantas Boeing 737-400 TJV is now registered 9G-AGL and is based at Accra, Ghana with Airline of Ghana after flying in Turkey, the US and Brazil.
A320 YQB, which operated in Australia with Strategic Airlines between April 2010 and March 2012, has recently moved from Latvia to South Africa where it now flies as ZS-EJI with Polkadots Properties at Johannesburg.
One can only guess at its colour scheme.

Continuing the Airbus A320 theme VQI and XHK, recently exported after service with Jetstar Airways, are on the move again.
VQI was returned to its leasing company in Ireland and was then to go to Serbia as YU-APH but in fact became EI-FER and is now B-LCAwith Hong Kong Express Airways at Chek Lap Kok.
XHK was returned to Airbus and used the French test marking of F-WHUI before becoming B-1849 with Tianjin Airlines of China.

The Beech 1900 has proven to be popular in South Africa so it was no surprise when Impulse 1900D IMA was exported there in January 2003.
It spent some time in Namibia before returning to South Africa and has now moved again, this time to Nigeria as 5N-BRK with DanaAir at Lagos.

Lastly, a recent report from the Paradive Museum at Habonim, Israel, lists Australian-built Tiger Moth 4X-AAT being on display there.
The aircraft served with the RAAF Empire Flying Training Schools at Tamworth, Narrandera, Richmond, Cootamundra and Benalla before being demobbed and becoming AQR with the Casino Aero Club during December 1950.
It also served with the St George and Districts Aero Club between September 1956 and April 1962 when it was exported to the US.
The Tiger is displayed resplendent in its RAAF yellow scheme and marked as A17-64 but with 4X-AAT on the tail.
