A 36SQN C-17 Globemaster has completed the RAAF’s fourth air shipment of military stores to Erbil in northern Iraq. The shipment was delivered without incident on September 16 and the aircraft safely returned to Al Minhad Air Base in the UAE.
The cargo of small arms ammunition was loaded in Tirana, Albania and was then inspected and cleared by Iraqi officials in Baghdad before being delivered to Erbil.
