A retrospective view

Watching the daily drama which has engulfed the Australian aviation industry in recent weeks, with its copious supplies of red ink, its political manoeuvres and dire predictions, has once again brought to mind that somewhat hackneyed phrase which is as relevant today as it was when that Qantas Avro 504K first left the ground at Charleville in 1920.

The one constant in aviation has been change.
