Seaplane operations return to Auckland Harbour

The Beaver is instantly recognisable as a Kenmore conversion with its distinctive rear window and appealing lines, only the location is different for this welltravelled Canadian as its sits waiting for its next load of tourists from Poland, Chile, Australia and yes, a couple of Kiwis as well.

For Auckland Seaplanes, operations with De Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver ZK-AMA (serial no 1477) commenced from Auckland Harbour in November 2013 to an expanding number of bays, vineyards, restaurants and lodges in the island regions surrounding Auckland.
