A Hawker Hurricane to Australia!
The big news this month is that a Hawker Hurricane is coming to Australia from Canada. The aircraft, a Mk 12, is a Canadian-built machine. It was taken on charge by the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942. Post-war it went to an aviation museum in Ontario.
Later the machine was shipped to the UK where it took up the registration G-ORGI. Rebuilt, it went to the USA and there took up the marking N678DP.
