Will the CSeries succeed against Airbus and Boeing competitors?
With Airbus and Boeing securing seemingly endless orders for their reworked A320 and 737 pushing production rates to record highs, it is hard to see how the clutch of regional jets will make any dent in their bulging order books. The problem appears to be more about which of the regional jets will succeed and which will fail.
History is strewn with failures in this arena as airlines opt for the ever-popular 737 and A320, and too many manufacturers chase the regional market.
