New Qantas business suite sets the pace

Rejoice, business class travellers: Qantas’s new business class seat is on its way, and it looks to be a real corker. But it’s only enroute for the airline’s A330-200 and A330-300 aircraft, which ply transcontinental routes and regional Asian services — not for the A380 or the 747, which will keep their second-generation full flat Skybed.

But arguably the Asian and Perth flights are the trickiest for passengers to get a decent bit of kip. (And it doesn’t help when you slide down the angle flat seat, yet your clothing stays where it started.)
