Coalition aviation policy welcomed
The potential for industry and government to form closer ties
The Coalition’s Aviation election policy document includes many interesting proposals that the AAA welcomes. The aim of the document is to strengthen the Aviation industry and to make it more competitive. Issues such as safety, reliability, efficiency and competitiveness are all included.
The AAA finds the proposed establishment of a formal Aviation Industry Consultative Council very exciting. The idea is that this group will regularly meet with the Minister discussing issues of concern regarding the wider industry. The aim is to have an open and ongoing dialogue with industry.
