Supplemental Supers?

The Australian government has taken a step closer to potentially acquiring an additional batch of F/A-18F Super Hornets for the RAAF. Following the December submission of a letter of request (LOR), the US Congress was formally notified on February 28 of the LOR by the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA).

The DSCA notification announces “…a possible Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to Australia for up to 12 F/A-18E/F Super Hornet aircraft and 12 EA-18G Growler aircraft and associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support…”.
